Pacquiao vs Mayweather A Done Deal - At Last!

The talk that dragged for years had at last went to a positive conclusion - the fight is on!

Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao and Floyd "Money" Mayweather Jr. had finally agreed on all terms for their face-off. According to Michael Koncz, Pacquiao's adviser, Mayweather's camp had been very cooperative and encouraging in closing the deal.

“(The meeting) was very pleasant and very encouraging, and we give Floyd credit for coming over,” - Pacquiao's adviser said.
Reports said that Koncz took a major part on the final arrangement knowing that Mayweather still had a personal rift on Pacquiao's promoter - Bob Arum.

Several rumors also revealed that Arum was really the reason why Mayweather took some time in signing the contract, recalling that previous reports already said that Pacquiao had agreed on major terms of the opposite camp, which includes the 60-40 purse cut, drug test procedure and the date and venue of the fight.

The issue between the broadcasting network had also been ironed according to Koncz. It can be recalled that Pacquiao is tied under HBO while Mayweather is on Showtime, both fighters are still in contract on their corresponding broadcasting network until 2016. The two network however had agreed on a rare joint-broadcasting deal for the fight.

All paperworks has been completed and secured, and the fight has been indeed scheduled on May 2, 2015 on MGM Grand Las Vegas.

If the fighters both want the fight to happen, who can stop it? - Koncz said after quoting Mayweather saying "I want the fight to happen,"

Experts said that the mega fight will be the highest grossing boxing records of all time.
